With the rapid growth of the Internet in today’s digital age, resulting in Big Data that is continuously growing and replicating, it is becoming impossible to completely delete any information that one shares online. It is important to realize that others can discover not just the data you directly put out there, but also the additional information about you that can be derived from that data. Due to this pressing issue that may be harmful to privacy, researchers are trying to find solutions that can hopefully prevent cloning of data. However, please keep in mind that no technical solution could completely solve the societal issue of the lack of online privacy.
