Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, gave a speech after receiving the Corporate Leadership award at EPIC’s Champions of Freedom event in Washington. (EPIC is the Electronic Privacy Information Center.) Mr. Cook touched upon three important topics relating to privacy, including guarding customer privacy, ensuring security, and protecting a customer’s right to encryption. He discusses the importance of customer information and why customers should be concerned when signing up for free services with large companies.
